The Elder Scrolls Online – Templar Class Skills Guide 1


Templars are traveling knights call upon the powers of light and the burning sun to deal massive damage to their enemies while restoring health, Magicka and stamina to their allies. Templar can damage with weapon and the powers of light, burning sun spells. This class also can be used as healer with restoration spells, simply, called Paladin of the game.

We made a detailed list of all Templar Class Skills, Abilities and Spells.

Aedric Spear Abilities:

There are total 10 abilities in this class, 1 Ultimate, 5 Active Abilities and 4 Passive Abilities. All these abilities can unlocked at different Aedric Spear rank. Using the abilities from this class will increase your class rank, higher rank will unlock the higher abilities.

Ultimate Ability:

RADIAL SWEEP:

Unlocked at Aedric Spear Rank 12 and deals 22 Magic Damage to all nearby enemies.

  • Radius: 5 Meters
  • Cost: 75 Ultimate

Active Abilities:

PUNCTURING STRIKES:

Requires 1 skill point to unlock, four consecutive attacks for 2 Magic Damage to enemies in front of you. Closest targets takes 100% additional damage and is knocked back on the last hit.

PIERCING JAVELIN:

Unlocked at Aedric Spear Rank 4, hurts a spear causing 12 Magic Damage and knocking back target 5 meters.

  • Cost: 53 Magicka

FOCUSED CHARGE:

Unlocked at Aedric Spear Rank 20. Charge to target, interrupting casts and stuns them for 3 seconds. Deals 16 Magic Damage.

  • Radius: 3.5-22 Meters
  • Cost: 35 Magicka

SPEAR SHARDS:

Deals 11 magic Damage to enemies within target are. Disorients 1 target for 6 seconds. Ally may pick up spear, granting them 25% Stamina and an additional 10 Stamina over 10 seconds. Unlocked at Aedric Spear Rank 30.

SUN SHIELD:

Creates damage shield for 27% Max Health that lasts 6 seconds. Deals 5 Magic Damage to nearby enemies’ radius on activation. Each successful hit increases shield strength by 4%. You will not regenerate Magicka while the shield is active. Unlocked at Aedric Spear Rank 42.

Passive Abilities:

PIERCING SPEAR:

While using Aedric Spear abilities, increases Critical Strike chance by 5%, increases damage vs Blocking targets by 5%. Unlocked at Aedric Spear Rank8.

SPEAR WALL

While an Aedric Spear Ability slotted, increases Block amount vs, melee attacks by +1. Unlocked at Aedric Spear Rank 14.

BURNING LIGHT:

While using an Aedric Spear ability, 25% chance on hit to deal 5 Magic Damage, unlocked at Aedric Spear Rank 22.

BALANCED WARRIOR:

Unlocked at Aedric Spear Rank 39 and increases Weapon Damage by 2% and Spell Resistance by 2.

Dawn’s Wrath Abilities:

There are total 10 abilities in this class, 1 Ultimate, 5 Active Abilities and 4 Passive Abilities. All these abilities can unlocked at different Dawn’s Wrath rank. Using the abilities from this class will increase your class rank, higher rank will unlock the higher abilities.

Ultimate Ability:

NOVA:

Unlocked at Dawn’s Wrath Rank 12. Enemies deal 40% less damage for 8 seconds and take 9 Magic Damage every 1 second. An ally may activate the Supernova synergy, dealing damage and stunning all enemies in the area.

  • Cost: 300 Ultimate

Active Abilities:

SUN FIRE:

Requires 1 skill point to unlock and deals 12 Flame Damage and an additional 6 Flame Damage over 4.5 seconds. Snares 40% for 4.5 seconds.

  • Range: 28 Meters
  • Cost: 35 Magicka

SOLAR FIRE:

Deals 27 Magic Damage to target. Next attack gains 6 Weapon Power and 6 Spell Power against target and nearby enemies. Bonus does not apply to Solar Flare or Solar Barrage attacks. Unlocked at Dawn’s Wrath Rank 4.

BACKLASH:


Unlocked at Dawn’s Wrath Rank 20. Targets enemy stores up damage taken for 6 seconds. When effect ends they receive an additional 33% of damage inflicted.

ECLIPSE:

Target reflects negative single target Spells back at themselves for 4 seconds. Unlocked at Dawn’s Wrath Rank 30.

BLINDING LIGHT:

Unlocked at Dawn’s Wrath Rank 42, nearby enemies have a 50% chance to miss and be set off balance for 3.5 seconds.

  • Duration: 3.5 Seconds
  • Cost: 53 Magicka

Passive Abilities:

ENDURING RAYS:

While using a Dawn’s Wrath ability, increases ability duration by 10%. Unlocked at Dawn’s Wrath Rank 8.

PRISM:

While activating a Sun ability, bestows 1 additional Ultimate upon activation. Unlocked at Dawn’s Wrath Rank 14.

ILLUMINATE:

While using a Dawn’s Wrath ability, Spell Resistance is increased by 5 if the attacker is affected. Unlocked at Dawn’s Wrath Rank 22.

RESTORING SPIRIT:

Gain 2% Magicka when activating an ability, unlocked at Dawn’s Wrath 39.

Restoring Light Abilities:

There are total 10 abilities in this class, 1 Ultimate, 5 Active Abilities and 4 Passive Abilities. All these abilities can unlocked at different Restoring Light rank. Using the abilities from this class will increase your class rank, higher rank will unlock the higher abilities.

Ultimate Ability:

RITE OF PASSAGE:

Heals allies nearby allies for 11 every 0.5 seconds for 4 seconds. You cannot move while channeling this ability. Unlocked at Restoring Light Rank 12.

Active Abilities:

RUSHED CEREMONY:

Heals nearby wounded ally for 33 and requires 1 skill point to unlock.

HEALING RITUAL:

Unlocked at Restoring Light Rank 4, heals nearby allies for 22. Heal self for an additional 30%.

  • Cast Time: 2 Seconds

  • Radius: 12 Meters
  • Cost: 39 Magicka

RESTORING AURA:

Increase stamina and health regeneration by 15%, when slotted. And upon activation, increase the health and stamina regeneration of nearby allies by an additional 80% for 6 seconds. Unlocked at Restoring Light Rank 20.

CLEANSING RITUAL:

Unlocked at Restoring Light Rank 30, instantly removes a negative effect from self. Over 12 seconds, heal nearby allies for 2 every 2 seconds. Allies in range may activate Purity, removing all negative effects and healing for 16.

  • Cost: 49 Magicka

RUNE FOCUS:

Creates an area of self-protection for 12 seconds, increasing Armor, Spell Resistance by 29. Unlocked at Restoring Light Rank 42.

  • Duration: 12 Seconds
  • Cost: 25 Magicka

Passive Abilities:

MENDING:

While using a restoring light ability, increases Critical Strike chance on allies by up to 15%. Critical Strike chance increases the more Health an ally is missing. Unlocked at Restoring Light Rank 8.

FOCUSED HEALING:

While using a restoring light ability, increases healing power by 15% to allies standing in an area of protection created by Rite of Passage, Cleansing Ritual or Rune Focus. Unlocked at Restoring Light Rank 14.

LIGHT WEAVER:

Increases duration of Restoring Aura 10%. Reduces cost of Healing Ritual 10%. Gains 13 Armor and Spell Resistance while channeling Rite of Passage. Unlocked at Restoring Light Rank 22.

MASTER RITUALIST:

Increases Resurrection speed by 20%. Affected allies resurrect with 50% more Health, 50% chance to gain a soul gem upon successful resurrect. Unlocked at Restoring Light Ranks 39.

    Played this class in the last beta event, and had a really good time. This class is very well balanced and powerful. Only problem I had was deciding what skill class to level up first.
