Nvidia Marketing Manager, Philip Scholz died on Jan 20, while trying to pull the man from the train tracks on the Santa Clara Caltrain Station in California.

Judging by the staff surveillance, shortly before his death, Scholz lay to tried to help a person get to a safe place before the train knocked the two men around 5:30 pm at a speed of 50 to 70 miles per hour. Scholz died on the spot, while the man whom he was trying to help is in hospital in critical condition. His identity has not been disclosed.

Scholz was 35 years old, grew up in Washington. He studied at the University of California, Santa Clara, and was married to Emily Scholz.
