Titanfall PC Crashes, Errors, Graphics Bug, Fail Installation and Fixes

#1 Titanfall – How to skip Startup/Intro videos?

To remove the Titanfall introduction or startup movies or videos, in Origin, right click on Titanfall, then Properties. Enter “-novid” (no quotes) in the input window, save and launch. That’s it.

#2 Titanfall – Where is Configuration file?

You can locate the Titanfall config file from My Documents\Respawn\Titanfall

#3 Titanfall – HUD is missing from Screen?

The multi-monitor users can faceoff this issue, wait for patch or use one monitor as temporary solution.

#4 Titanfall – Run game in Borderless Fullscreen Windowed mode

You can run Titanfall in borderless Fullscreen windowed mode also, just add “-noborder” parameter (without quotes) in game’s shortcut. To do this, right click on game’s exe shortcut, set parameter in target value i.e. “C:\Program Files (x86)\Titanfall\game.exe” -noborder.

#5 Titanfall – How to disable 60 FPS cap?

If you want to disable or remove fixed 60 FPS then just enable V-Sync from game graphic options. It is also recommends to enable V-Sync if you have above 60Hz monitors for surpass.

#6 Titanfall V-Sync Issues

The enabling or disabling of V-Sync in Titanfall produces many several issues; I personally recommend that not to enable V-Sync. You may face-off Frames Tearing, Artifacting, Mouse Lag Issues, Controller Issues and other unknown problems. So just disable V-Sync and avoid tons of issues.

#7 Titanfall – Texture/Graphics Stuttering, Tearing or Flickering Issues

As above, first of all disable V-Sync. If problem persists then decrease texture resolution from Insane to High, hope it works. For SLI/CrossFire users, disable SLI or CrossFire then try to run game, it will fix high screen flickering.

#8 Titanfall – Can’t change Texture Resolution

If you are launching game from game client (Origins), you will not be able to change resolution. Start the game from the game installation directory, the game launcher will appear; here you can change the resolution. (Note: For Insane Resolution, you must have 3GB of graphic card memory).

#9 Titanfall – Problems with Intel 4000 Graphics

For Intel HD 4000 graphic users, you may faceoff black screen at startup or launch, Not Responding, flickering, Crash to Desktop and other errors. But there is no any solution to fix them all. You can download the latest version of Intel HD Drivers to enhance a little bit. The Intel HD graphic owner may receive more issue than NVidia or AMD users.

#10 Titanfall – Black Screen and Crash Fixes

Above, we already talked about these problems. Disabling SLI/CrossFire, V-Sync may solve these issues. If problem persists then run game in windowed mode.

#11 Titanfall – Online Connectivity Issues and Network Ports

Titanfall releasing today with its first episode, the unique awesome multiplayer experience take game’s popularity to sky. The first two days after releasing, it will be very hard for online/multiplayer users; they will faceoff different network issues and problems. So it is recommends to forward the Titanfall network ports to enhance the online connectivity.

For all Players:

  • TCP/HTTP: 443; 25000-25099; 30000 – 30099
  • UDP: 8125; 25000-25099; 30000 – 30099

For Xbox 360 & Xbox One Players:

  • UDP: 53; 88; 3074
  • TCP: 53; 80; 3074

How to forward network ports? Read this article. If you have problem with chat with someone using Video Kinect, you may need to open port 1863 (UDP & TCP).

#12 Titanfall – Graphic Issues, Can’t see Players, Guns and Missing Textures Fix

Titanfall demands latest graphic card drivers, download and installed latest version. The other solution I already discussed that disable V-Sync and SLI/CrossFire may enhance gaming performance. If you are using Laptop, switch the graphic cards to NVidia/AMD rather than Intel.

#13 Titanfall – Can’t Install or Fail Installation

It is very known issue with Titanfall, it is recommended to un-install NVidia PhysX from Control Panel>Programs, restart your machine and then try to install the game.

  • Jazerix

You may face-off Frames Tearing… You know, V-sync solves that. You create a bottleneck when you disable vsync and you have a higher fps than your monitor can handle. Vsync syncs the frames with your screen thus removes frames tearing >_>

EA are the champs, the only games I’m having problems with is theirs, they have shitty customer service and shitty servers, I’ve been messing around for 5 hours wondering what the heck is wrong with Titanfall.
